PE

School provide PE kits for all children in school (white t – shirt and black shorts). Pumps or indoor shoes are worn for indoor PE sessions. It is the responsibility of parents/carers to provide suitable trainers for outdoor PE sessions.

Jewellery

On health and safety grounds, we do not allow children to wear jewellery in our school. The exceptions to this rule are small objects of religious significance and children’s medical identification needs.

To enable children to fully access the broad curriculum we provide at Cliffe Hill, we do not allow children to wear false finger nails. Pupils are not allowed to wear make-up as this also can become a distraction to learning. Children will be asked to remove jewellery or make up by a member of staff. The class teacher will contact parents to ask them to remove false nails and ensure makeup and jewellery is not worn on subsequent school days.
